The Faculty Exchange Program (FEP) began in 1995 with the first 21 professors of agricultural economic subjects from Russia, Kazakstan, and Ukraine. They participated in a 5 month program at American agricultural universities to increase their knowledge of modern agricultural economic subjects, to develop new course materials, and to gain an understanding of how agricultural systems operate in a market based economy. Since 1995, 130 participants from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakstan, Yugoslavia ,Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, and Kyrgyzstan have participated in the program |
